MOCA is thrilled to welcome back VIA Academy for Live in the Gallery, a summer collaboration that turns our exhibition space into a performance stage.

On Friday, July 31st, VIA Academy students will lead an educational exchange with MOCA summer campers, sharing the stories and ideas behind their music. The afternoon culminates in a free public performance from 3–4pm, with students performing inside the gallery itself, surrounded by the works of South Florida's leading contemporary artists.

VIA Academy offers students from remote and underrepresented communities in classical music access to instrumental skill training and broader outlooks on their future career decisions; while focusing on the purpose of classical music in culture and community.
