Jazz at

MOCA debut

Jazz at MOCA launched with a performance by Dennis Noday, inaugurating a free concert series that has brought live jazz to the museum’s plaza on the last Friday of every month for over two decades.

Teen Art

Force & MOCA ZINE

Teen Art Force made its debut as a core tenet of our educational programs. With the launch of MOCA ZINE, the program empowered regional youth with a publishing platform for creative and critical voices. Alumni includeVivian Crockett, Allen and Lola Goldring Curator at the New Museum, New York and artist Daveed Baptiste, a 2025 CFDA Empowered Vision Award winner, reflecting our sustained investment in local talent with global impact.

The House at

MOCA

The exhibition highlighted 15 emerging Miami artists from the alternative art space The House, featuring Daniel Arsham and Bhakti Baxter, whom later entered the museum’s permanent collection, spotlighting the city’s next generation of talent.

Roy Lichtenstein:

Inside Outside

This exhibition brought together over 120 paintings, drawings, and sculptures, examining Roy Lichtenstein’s career-long engagement with spatial illusion and visual perception. Spanning works from the early 1960s through his death in 1997, it marked the artist’s first major exhibition in Miami.
